Amin Amiri
The principal of a2e Industries, Amin Amiri, is regarded as an innovative and distinctive corporate financier with an impressive track record of investing in and advising private companies in the last 20 years or so. He specialises in strategic development of businesses, "revitalising" businesses and enhancing shareholders value of investee companies and clients, hence his immense reputation in this field. His views are often sought by business organisations and journalists due to his unique expertise.

He completed his post graduate studies gaining an Executive MBA from the prestigious Harvard Business School, following which he gained firsthand experience of New York corporate finance scene on Wall Street for two years.

He developed a successful corporate finance advisory team there and his assignments took him to Moscow, Belgrade, South America and Europe.

As head of Grant Thornton Corporate Finance until September 2000, he developed from small beginnings an impressive and highly regarded team, across the North of England, achieving No. 1 spot in MBO/MBI’s in the 1990s and gaining national recognition and coverage, completing mid-market transactions (many considered innovative and pioneering) with values in excess of £1 Billion.

Since founding a2e in January 2001, he has acquired stakes in a number of Mid-Market Companies, achieved turnarounds in many, exited from 10 and created spectacular results for his investee companies. This conglomerate of controlled companies now has an annual turnover and EBIT exceeding £100m and £9m respectively. He effectively acts as Chairman of companies and provides leadership to the investee companies.

Amin is a trustee of the Iran Heritage Foundation, served on the Court of Liverpool University and is a member of the regional CBI council, the board of Maggie’s cancer charity, is a fellow of the RSA and was a patron of Raleigh International in Merseyside.
